We have an opportunity for an Environmental Consultant/Engineer to assist our dynamic team with the delivery and management of contaminated land projects nationally.
If you are a team player, have a positive attitude and enjoy working on multi-discipline development projects, then we would love to hear from you.About the roleAs an Environmental Consultant with us, you will join a dynamic environmental team; identifying potential contaminants and their source for land development projects.
Undertaking site testing, historical reviews, soil and groundwater analysis and reporting.You will be responsible for the management of projects and their delivery; working collaboratively with our geotechnical, civil, and structural engineers to identify environmental solutions that can be incorporated in the overall design of our projects.We offerWe offer a competitive salary, flexible working, along with career development opportunities and comprehensive on-the-job training.About youRelevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Geology / Geoscience, Civil Engineering or similarWorking towards CEnvP or already qualified4 - 6 years+ industry experience in similar roleDemonstrated commercial acumen and experience with managing multiple projects from conception to completionHigh level of attention to detail with excellent planning, technical reporting and sound problem-solving skills, you will take pride in producing quality workExperience in working alongside geotechnical and/or civil engineering preferred but not essentialBe practically minded and have experience of construction practices and working closely with contractorsEnjoy working in a collaborative team environment and communicating with a wide range of peopleAbout usKirk Roberts Consulting is a multi-disciplinary company providing Structural, Geotechnical, Fire, Civil, and Environmental Engineering Services, plus Architecture and Engineering Software to a range of clients across New Zealand, from our offices in Christchurch, Queenstown, Auckland, Hamilton, and Tauranga.At Kirk Roberts the heart of our business is innovation and finding a better way is why we exist.
