Entry Level Production Operator - Tiwai About the role We're looking for people who reside in the Invercargill region to join our friendly teams as Production Operators.
You'll learn how to run routine and assigned tasks specific to smelting operations and how to support our operational teams to ensure the safe and sustainable production of aluminium through the operation of mobile and fixed plant equipment.
You'll be working at our NZAS refinery located at Tiwai Point, on a lifestyle friendly roster working 12-hour day/night shift (two-day, two-night, and four-day off rotation), allowing you the opportunity to balance your work and other lifestyle commitments.

Supported by your Leaders, Crew and Training Team , you will, with training: Keep safety at front of mind in all tasks you undertake Work as part of a team to meet shared goals across each shift Operate machinery such as Cranes, Sweepers and Forklifts Work on reduction lines; tapping metal, cell dressing, raising beams Undertake furnace preparation, pit operations, production inspections and mobile equipment operation What you'll bring A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset Ability to communicate with your team and leaders A willingness to learn new things Ability to undertake physical work in a hot industrial environment A New Zealand Class 1 Driver's License or the desire to obtain with assistance from the company What we offer Be recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing you've helped the world progress.
