Within Payments Platform, we have our Cross Border Domain that supports and modernizes our critical international payment systems/services, to ensure we meet best practice and our ongoing customer demand.As an Enterprise Test lead, you will apply your Payment expertise and testing experience to help lead the squads in building, supporting, and maintaining our applications and contribute to the overall testing processes within the project.You'll be part of a program/project on the forefront of working to deliver and support a secure, functional and performant ecosystem to our customers.

We are looking for a mix of payments experience, test management and technical testing skills to support the following activities:Creating agile testing strategies and plans.Fostering proactive and continuous improvements within the testers.Working with key stakeholders for testing end to end and obtain sign-off.Building and supporting test automation.Building and supporting performance testing.Reviewing requirements and specifications.Verifying and validating functionality being developed.Analysing and reporting test results.Meeting our regulatory requirements from RBNZ and International organisations such as SWIFT.Redesign our internal solutions to use modern cloud technology and align with ISO20022 framework.About you:We are looking for an individual that will lead the testing within a large programme of work.
Someone who not only understands good QA practice that includes engineered test automation & performance testing, but also someone who can provide non-line management leadership to squads.
A person who can own and report the overall test status and provide QA guidance to the wider cross border domain squads, leaders, and stakeholders.Our technical solutions drive continuous change for the squads and customers to ensure we are delivering best possible outcomes.
You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of test engineering and deliver better & safer customer payment experiences.We are looking for someone who has:Proven testing leadership with large or complex projects/programs.Proven knowledge across functional, system, integration, API testing, end to end testing, automation testing and performance testing.Manage and coordinate project/program level end to end testing activities with multiple squads.Working with key stakeholders (internal/external) for testing end to end and obtain sign-off.Create and maintain project level test strategies/test plans that includes approach for technical testing (test automation & non-functional testing) components.Capture, track and escalate status, risks, and issues to management.Experience on test estimating, negotiating and prioritizing of work.Provide test sign-off against test coverage, execution, defects, and risks.Develop strong positive stakeholder relationships over a continuous release stream.Develop sustainable and agile test processes that incorporate test automation.Manage complex integrated test environments and test data.Mentoring/guiding on standards and best practices.In-depth technical capabilities to grow .Net/RestSharp/Selenium/BDD test automation.Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.Has fostered proactive and continuous improvements to a testing community.3+ years of experience of testing within the Cross border Payments industry.In addition, the following would be an advantage:Financial/banking domain experience.Certified in ISTQB Fundamentals/Manager level.Working experience in Cloud technologies.Working at ASB:ASB's sense of who we are and what we stand for is grounded in our values.
