Mo te tunga | About the role The Digital team are currently looking for an Enterprise Security Architect to join the team at Department of Corrections (Ara Poutama Aotearoa).
We have exciting plans, designed to modernise our infrastructure and technology platforms, and delivering transformative digital technology for the people in our care and our staff.
This role will be crucial in providing security leadership to ensure these advancements are implemented with careful consideration of security.
Reporting to Director, Cybersecurity, the role of Enterprise Security Architect is wide and varied and you will be part of a like-minded team that is the custodian for the security of the Digital future of Ara Poutama, adopting modern technology, and putting it in the hands of people who will benefit the most.
As the Enterprise Security Architect, you will lead and collaborate with digital and business teams on security technologies throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Develop and align strategies and architectures for Information Security, Electronic Security, Identity & Access Management and Privacy.
Ensure architectural artefacts are current and fit for purpose.
Support governance and strategic consistency, enhance security maturity with technology partners and contribute your expertise to the Cybersecurity Leadership team and relevant programmes.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall technology outcomes for Ara Poutama and work alongside teams across the organisation who are focused on human-centred design.

The mid point of the salary range is $157,808 and the full range (85%-120%) is $134,137- $189,370.
