We are looking for experienced Otolaryngologists who are transformational leaders; providing clinical expertise to deliver quality care for our region.

Southland Hospital is one of the newest hospitals in the South Island of New Zealand, providing modern and easily accessible facilities for staff and patients.

As a base hospital covering a wide geographical area, there is an enormous scope for variety in the work of a talented professional like you.

In this role, you will assist with the education and supervision of surgical staff and medical students. As the ENT practitioner on site at Southland Hospital, you will be supported by the clinical leader and colleagues from Dunedin Hospital, who are also undertaking clinics at Southland Hospital.

You will see a full range of patients and perform a variety of procedures such as endoscopic sinus surgery, middle ear surgery, facial skin cancer surgery, and paediatric ENT procedures; all major head & neck surgery is currently carried out at Dunedin Hospital.

Utu whanui Salary range

This role belongs to the ASMS Collective Agreement and falls between the Step 1 ($185,380) and Step 15 ($267,980 per annum pro rata) depending on prior experience.
