Full Time, Fixed Term Opportunity Available!!!
A fixed term opportunity for a highly motivated and passionate Enrolled Nurse – Pacific – Planned Care has become available at Te Whatu Ora, Counties Manukau – Pacific Health. We are a team of experienced nurses, social workers, and navigators dedicated to improving health outcomes for Pacific. This role is ideal for candidates who may be able to fulfill a 6-month secondment or looking to gain experience in a new environment.
The Enrolled Nurse – Pacific – Planned Care is primarily responsible for supporting Pacific patients through their healthcare journey to ensure they receive and attend timely appointments and treatments while upholding the organisation's values of manaakitanga, kotahitanga, whanaungatanga, and rangatiratanga. The position will work closely with and report to the Clinical Nurse Specialist – Pacific, Planned Care, and will function as part of the wider Fanau Ola, Pacific Health Team. They will competently support Pacific patients and families, coach and walk alongside them throughout their healthcare, and effectively develop and manage relationships to achieve the best outcomes for the individual and their whaanau as they navigate health and social services to improve their health and independence.
The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent relational skills, the ability to work as a team member, adaptability and flexibility to change, a love for challenges, and an innovative, solution-focused mindset. The ideal candidate will have:

1-2 years' experience practicing as an Enrolled Nurse.
A good understanding of Pacific health paradigms.
An understanding of the health system and the barriers for Pacific.
Preferred fluency in a Pacific Language (but not critical) and an understanding of Pacific cultures, world views, and excellent communication skills.
Essential - Full NZ driver's licence.
