Tuakau College is experiencing roll growth and therefore has a number of positions available for the 2024 academic year. We require a passionate, energetic teacher to teach in our English learning area, commencing at the start of term 1, 2025.
We are seeking an outstanding classroom teacher who has good curriculum knowledge, strong classroom management skills and is passionate about helping students learn. This role will suit a teacher who is keen to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.

For overseas applicants, you are required to have a three-year specialist qualification at Level 7 with a one-year teacher training Level 7 qualification. It is an advantage to have New Zealand teacher registration with the NZ Teachers Council. You must have at least 5 years' experience in the classroom. Your conditions of work and salary are based on the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement 2002-2025. The salary range is from $68,122 ($32.75/hr) to $99,216 ($47.70/hr).
