Napier Girls' High School is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic teacher to join our English learning area. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and supportive team.
This role is suitable for a beginning or experienced teacher. Our ideal candidate will be able to teach up to and including Level 2 English. The ability to teach Level 3 is not essential; however, it would be advantageous.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for term 1 and term 2 of the 2025 school year, to cover a period of maternity leave.
Who we are
Napier Girls' High School is located in Ahuriri, Napier, and provides education for students in Y9-13. The school is one of the oldest in New Zealand for girls. It celebrates its traditions and its values of Manaakitanga (respect and caring), Kairangi Whaiaro (personal excellence), and Whanaungatanga (relationships and connections), which underpin the kaupapa of empowering akonga to achieve success and fulfilment for themselves, whanau, and the wider community.
