English Teacher (full-time permanent 2025) Long Bay College is a co-educational secondary school located in a peaceful location near Long Bay Beach and the new Long Bay Village. The school opened in 1975 and has approximately 1800 students with 160 teaching and support staff combined.
We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and pedagogically strong teacher to join our Faculty of English in Term 1, 2025, in a permanent full-time position.
A familiarity with cognitive science-based approaches and their application to the classroom would be indicative of a strong fit with our faculty and whole school educational philosophy.

Our English programmes are geared to support high academic achievement across our courses.

The terms andconditions, including base salary and hours of work, for this position is setby the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trainedand registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086 (rates effective 2December 2024), depending on applicant's qualifications and experience. An individualsactual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role isconfirmed.
