This role involves ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and fostering a love for literature and language among our students.Potential Additional Role - Specialist Classroom Teacher (SCT)For the suitable candidate, the possibility of an SCT role with a significant focus on literacy development across the school is available.Key Responsibilities:Provide learning opportunities for every child relative to his or her needs, abilities, and stage of development.Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic success.Deliver lessons in accordance with subject schemes of work, National Education Guidelines, school policies, and the school.Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.Qualifications and Experience:A relevant teaching qualification and current registration with the New Zealand Teaching Council.Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary school level.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A passion for English literature and language, and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.What We Offer:A supportive and collaborative work environment.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A chance to make a significant impact on the lives of our students.We will be assessing and reviewing applications as they are received.
