This role is varied and busy, so meticulous attention to detail is needed. You will be highly motivated and find prioritizing easy. You will have enough trade and life experience to be able to make decisions and know when to ask for help.
You will be self-motivated and hold a Trade qualification, but unqualified persons with 4 or more years of Fabrication/engineering experience will also be considered.
About Watson Engineering:
We are a family-owned business with approximately 20 staff. Areas of work range from hospital maintenance and medical air, general engineering, structural steel work for architectural houses, and site maintenance of water and wastewater plants. We manufacture in stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum.
Remunerations:
Hourly Rates: $30 - $40 subject to experience.
Assistance with relocation costs.
Overtime rates after 44 hours.

Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role - ideally fabrication and maintenance fitting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Mathematically knowledgeable and able to understand dimensions
Able to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings
Well-developed time management skills
Experience in fabrication and welding (MIG, TIG, and ARC) and general engineering
Ability to follow instructions and produce quality workmanship
