Engineering Team Manager - Conveyor Systems | $130k+ Per Annum
Tradestaff are seeking an Engineering Team Manager, specialising in conveyor systems, to join us for a late September Start!
Responsibilities: Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of engineers and technicians.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and foster professional development.
Engineering and Technical Oversight: Manage and perform hands-on engineering tasks involving tools and machinery.
Ensure the effective operation and maintenance of conveyor systems and related equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with conveyor systems and machinery.
Project and Workflow Management: Plan and oversee engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for conveyor systems.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve processes.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure all engineering practices comply with safety regulations and company standards.
Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in an engineering role with hands-on experience using tools and machinery.
Demonstrated experience managing teams and leading engineering projects.
In-depth knowledge of conveyor systems and related technologies.
Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical expertise.
Proficiency in using engineering tools and machinery.
