In consultation with the Strategic Planning and Operations, from the development of the optimal asset maintenance regimes to minimise whole of life costs and improve asset performance, to leading the technical and engineering capability that ensured compliance with regulatory and operational requirements for the Auckland Airport precinct.As a member of the Infrastructure Leadership Team you will provide considered technical and people leadership that drives standards and helps us maintain our assets to meet our operational and strategic objectives with a customer-centric mindset. This role will ensure asset data requirements are fulfilled, and the associated processes to allow effective analysis drive continuous improvement of asset performance. Supported by systems and the capability of the Engineering Services Team, this individual will plan and manage the execution of standard and emergency procedures with the appropriate sense of urgency and control.You will identify opportunities for improvement, develop business cases, lead and champion change within the team and ways of working. Develop overall capability and engagement within the Engineering Services function by ensuring the skills in the workforce match the ambition level of the engineering services.What you'll bring to the role:Significant experience as a senior engineering professional – including leading the maintenance engineering function in complex and large asset ownership contexts.Proven leadership experience in a similar role.Sound working knowledge of Asset Management (ISO5500) and Project Management disciplines.Strong leading abilities, with experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.About us:With so many moving parts to keep the airport precinct running, it's our collaboration and passion that keeps everything together.
