This full-time, permanent role presents an exciting opportunity for the right person to play a key role in shaping the future of our community.

About the role:

As the Engineering and Projects Manager at Wairoa District Council, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering initiatives and managing projects to enhance the infrastructure within the Wairoa District. You will organise, direct and control the management of the ongoing renewals and capital works within the District.

About you:

You are a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects. You are an effective communicator with the ability to engage with various stakeholders and are committed to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. You have a minimum of 5 years of infrastructure construction or maintenance experience and are committed to continuous improvement in the workplace.
