About us | Whakapa maiThe Central North Island Regional Projects Team are responsible for delivering the Central North Island regional capital portfolio safely and effectively to achieve business objectives.
About the opportunity | Te whai waahiAs the Engineering Project Manager, you will work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth and on-time delivery of capital projects in the regional portfolio.
You will be engineering and managing projects across the central north island manufacturing sites.
You will also be responsible for successful project delivery, from concept to implementation, through the building of effective relationships and project teams.
You will be facilitating change by applying a leading approach with good representation from stakeholders.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will get exposure to a range of engineering projects, leading initiatives that will significantly improve the sustainability, safety, quality, and reliability of assets within our operations.
Your projects will be highly visible to senior leaders and make a real difference to the future performance and success of Fonterra.
There is flexibility for the successful candidate to be based at one of our Waikato sites.
About you | Moe koeTo be successful in this role you will bring an engineering or project management background, within a high-quality team environment with the ability to deliver complex projects end to end.
You will have a proven ability to learn and adapt to a varying workload as well as having excellent prioritisation and decision-making skills.
You'll be reliable, approachable, and be able to identify and provide solutions to the wider business to keep jobs moving forward.
A degree in Process, Mechanical or Chemical engineering is preferable alongside familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
Project management certification such as PMP, Prince 2 or CAPM would be helpful.
