Silver Fern Farms Belfast are looking to recruit a skilled Project Coordinator to assist our site-based Projects team for a 2-year fixed term for both major CAPEX and day to day project facilitation across our largest beef only site in the network. About the opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity to expand on your existing projects experience and will be utilising your technical skills/ understanding of maintenance electrical and engineering practice, combined with having an intimate understanding of how to best create collaboration within various teams, while creating process, support, project coordination and administration duties for projects around the site. This will include providing support for system users and engineering staff as required, and helping them to perform their allocated tasks safely, efficiently, and effectively.
Te Tikanga / Job requirements:
Broad-based experience or a sound knowledge of maintenance systems with a particular emphasis on mechanical and electrical – or a genuine passion to learn/ develop in this area.
Computer literacy - proficiency in the use of Microsoft (Word, Excel), Databases, and preferably CAD experience.
An acute ability to multi-task and to communicate effectively across multiple layers of the projects team, both internally and externally.
Accurate and energetic approach to business success, with a strength in process and practice improvement.
Demonstrates excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with attention to detail.
A good understanding of red meat sector business and government support for primary industry.
Previous project coordination experience providing project support to senior management and business projects within complex organisations.
Self-motivated, proactive, with the ability to use initiative and work independently and as part of a team.
