About the Role Quality Bakers Auckland is New Zealand's largest plant bakery manufacturing some of New Zealand's most loved brands such as Vogel's, Freya's, Molenberg, and Natures Fresh.
It has 5 plants, running 24 / 7 to produce 74 different products daily.
As the Engineering Planner & Stores Manager you will enable the high-performing engineering team through planning and the allocation of tasks to the appropriate trades team with designated timeframes ensuring they're delivered to specification and on budget.
To make this happen, your responsibilities will include : Take responsibility for screening incoming work orders, identification of scope, to plan jobs with appropriate level of detail Develop a maintenance forecast and strategy to drive reliability and focus on highest downtime / impact events. Support budget planning and contribution to business cases for minor capital CI projects Manage mechanical and electrical stores including cycle counts to ensure CMMS and SAP are reconciled and critical spares are on hand as required Conduct risk assessments and ensure JSA's have been completed to write clear work procedures and delivery of work orders Ensure safety and food safety is front of mind when planning to ensure safe work practices About You For this role to be a success you will be a trade certified mechanical or electrical engineer with experience in planning and scheduling, preferably with an understanding of the food manufacturing industry.
Skillsets, qualifications and experience we are looking for include :
Experience in Engineering Planning for a medium sized Engineering team Experience in reliability and data analysis Experience in planning and managing of projects up to $150,000 Technical competency to interpret vendor manuals and drawings with the ability to write detailed reports Skills in stakeholder management and an ability to communicate clearly with the wider engineering team, vendors, OEM suppliers and site management Some level of financial acumen to perform cost analysis and work to structured budgets What we can offer You will be joining a driven team of professionals who genuinely enjoy working together resulting in a highly collaborative and flexible work environment making delicious cheeses.
