This role reports directly to the Site Manager and works in close synergy with the operational and supply chain leaders, and national support services across the Ballance group.No two days are the same and your role responsibilities include:Lead the engineering team to get the best out of the plant.Oversee the projects team, delivering a diverse range of projects across multiple disciplines.Support the business to develop and implement strategic plans to position the Kapuni asset for the future.WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THIS ROLEYou're a confident team player who understands the responsibilities of the company and the seriousness of the role. You will be most suited to the role if you have:Outstanding people leadership skills; you are a talented leader, mentor, coach, negotiator, resolver of conflict, enabler.Grounded in management and ideally have experience working in larger organisations where engineering best practice has been a way of life.A background from within a Petrochem manufacturing environment.The ability to see the bigger picture, communicate the company vision and achieve buy-in from all parties.
