Key Accountabilities:
In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for:
Workshop: Professionally lead and manage the workshop's workload effectively and efficiently ensuring priorities and deadlines are met.
Design and Project Work: Using Solidworks 3D, create and design innovative products & solutions as per customers' specifications from conception to completion.
Key Accounts: Being the front person for existing local key accounts, assist with the growth of the business by canvassing for new business, estimating work, and managing day-to-day customer liaison.
Health and Safety: Maintain and improve the existing electronic-based Health and Safety system, run weekly Tool Box Meetings, and monthly staff Health and Safety Meetings.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
NZCE (or equivalent), Advanced Industrial Mechanical Trade, or Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
8-10 years' experience in leading and managing engineering services
Proven ability to manage, create, and design projects, with a strong planning ability
High level of expertise in Solidworks 3D
Self-manage with a drive for continuous improvement, whilst positively influencing team and stakeholders of the benefit of driving the same focus.
Financial and analytical skills
Strong customer service approach, both internal and external
