Engineering Manager

To support our continued growth in the marine construction market, we are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead Heron's internal technical team responsible for developing construction methodologies, undertaking temporary works designs as well as design and design detailing for Heron Marina's.
You will provide technical support to a wide range of marine based projects in New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific islands.
You will also get involved in providing design and construction guidance to our tendering teams.

We are looking for a proactive individual with the following skill set: Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering Chartered Professional Engineer A minimum of 5 years design experience which should include a variety of structures, temporary works and the use of structural design software Ideally, you have had some experience in piling design and of working on-site Positive, easy-going attitude with a drive to do what is best for the company.
