We consult to around 80-90% of Australia's HP manufacturers and we work with Chinese testing laboratories to help get water heating products eligible for rebates and on the market. See https://www.energyae.com/ for more.Qualifications & experienceBachelor of Engineering degree - Mechanical, Chemical & Process or similarBonus: Masters/PhD or several years engineering work experience.Tasks & responsibilitiesSimulation analysis of solar water heaters (SWHs) & heat pump water heaters (HPWHs)Modelling bespoke renewable energy systems using TRNSYS softwareProgramming automation scripts in Excel VBARegistrations of SWHs and HPWHs to Australian government incentive schemesEngaging with various clients to understand their requirements, analyse results, and share insights to help them design & deliver the most efficient water heaters possible.Writing - reports, website articlesFull time 35-40 hours per week.Flexible working hours and leaveWorking in a vibrant co-working shared office space in Christchurch CBDApplicant must be currently living, or willing to move, to Christchurch NZ.It is an exciting time to be working in the heat pump industry!
