You will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairing plant equipment to minimise downtime and improve overall plant efficiency.Hourly rate ranges from $35 - $40, based on your experience and qualification, plus on-call allowances.As an Engineer, you will be responsible for:Day-to-day maintenance of the plant.Reporting breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks through the software-based system.Ensuring production downtime is kept minimal.Maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Following health and safety/food safety procedures.QualificationsFor this role, you'll need:Engineering Trade.Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering experience.FMCG or Secondary Industry (Food Processing) experience would be advantageous.Good verbal and written communication skills.Problem-solving skills.Efficiency and organisation.Additional InformationWith Talley's, you get:Training provided.Great working conditions.Generous staff discounts and perks.Free on-site parking.Annual wage reviews.About Talley'sTalley's is a multi-division, international company that's proudly New Zealand owned and operated, bringing the best New Zealand seafood, mussels, vegetables, and ice cream products locally and to the world.
