About The Role The School of Engineering, Computer & Mathematical Sciences engages with a variety of industries and the wider community.
The purpose is to raise the profile of the School's programmes, students and staff, and connect many stakeholders.
Building and maintaining relationships with industry underpins the School's collaboration and practical learning ethos.
The Engagement Co-ordinator is responsible for providing support to the School's engagement initiatives.
This role will support the External Engagement Manager and be responsible for delivering support to the day-to-day administration, supporting a wide variety of events, and maintaining our relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Skills And Experience You will bring with you:
Experience as an administrator supporting a manager for a minimum of three yearsKnowledge of effective file management systemsCompetent level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office desktop applications - and competency in digital communicationWell-developed interpersonal skills and work in a diverse and multi-cultural environmentExcellent written and oral communication skills, in particular writing in English, working with the public and the ability to convey issues concisely and clearlyExcellent organisational skillsAbility to organise eventsHere at AUT we are more of a community and there is real purpose and meaning underpinning what we do.
