The role * Lead the technical pre-qualification of major and complex opportunities and supporting customer enquiries at the early-stage technical evaluation of network capacity * Explore and understand the opportunity and impact of energy initiatives, such as fleet electrification systems, energy storage and demand response on the network * Approve customer connected generation, engineering designs and solutions for the connection of large customer installations * Provide specialist project and delivery technical support for renewable generation and distributed generation enquiries * Develop and implement a systematic approach to technical discoveries and problem solving About you * Bachelor of Engineering (Power) or equivalent knowledge gained in the Design, Build and Commissioning of Renewable Energy Generation and Energy Storage Systems * Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to build credible relationships, influence and a customer focused outcome * Natural ability to connect and collaborate with others detailing needs and identifying potential mutual benefits * Strong report writing, verbal communication and presentation skills including to an executive level * Genuine interest and understanding of the various load and generation technologies the customer may connect to today or in the future * A curious, pro-active and innovative approach with the ability to think outside the box and not be afraid to try new things We offer You'll find at Orion, you can come as you are and just be you.
