Energy Analyst

Job Description We're looking for an awesome Analyst to help us keep the good energy flowing.  As our Energy Analyst you will play an integral role in supporting both the commercial and operational aspects of the Rockgas business to achieve our business strategy and financials.
This role, which is varied and interesting, focuses on assisting the end-to-end sourcing and coordinating of LPG from producers to end users, through the analysis of Rockgas' product supply/demand profile, risks, pricing, market trading environment and suppliers.
Qualifications As well as being an awesome team player who takes pride in doing a great job and you will have: A tertiary qualification in finance, business, economics or a related field Proven experience as a high performing Analyst in a 'Big Four' accounting firm or equivalent.
In-depth experience producing forecasting models for different organisational scenarios and applying best practice techniques.
A demonstrated track record of experience and skills in producing high-quality presentations, financial analysis and risk management.
Strong commercial acumen.  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, notably Excel, PowerPoint and Word.  In-depth experience producing various material for external and internal audiences.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines.  Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Previous experience as an Analyst in the Energy sector is not required as you will get lots of on the job training from the best!
