Queenstown, Eastern Cape, South Africa OPS 7 DIV 35 - QUEENSTOWN CENTRALEnsure relevant documentation for all transactions is checked and recorded when stock and/or fixed assets leave the Store or when Customers return stock.Requirements:Minimum Grade 12 and 1 (one) year work related experience or 2 (two) years' work related experienceAbility to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is availableMust be literateMust have strong numeric skillsProven attention to detailMust be able to work under pressureMust be willing to work shifts, weekends and Public HolidaysSecurity Responsibilities:Ensure no goods leave Cashbuild stores without the relevant documentationComplete all documentation correctly and fullyCapture correct date, time, sequence, and signature on documentsEnsure all Customer returns are correctly recorded in the End Controller book and authorisedEnsure back up employee available for area of responsibility with shift changes, lunch, and tea breaksSign the End Control keys IN/OUT dailyEnsure all exit/entry doors are closed if not in useEnsure loading and off-loading shutter doors are closed at all times when not in useReport all suspicious behaviour and vehicles which could pose a risk to Cashbuild and its Customers to ManagementConduct random searches on Employees when they leave the StoreCustomer Service Responsibilities:Offer fast, friendly and efficient service to all Cashbuild Customers when checking in and out Customers' goodsDirect Customers to the relevant person who can assist them.Operational Responsibilities:Adhere to Ready for Business and Beyond my Control as per the CB WayPerformance Responsibilities:Achieve set targets and complete work accurately and at the required standardDeliver best practice quality/standards as established in the companyMake an effort to follow through on commitmentsProblem Solving Responsibilities:Identify problems and seek root causesResolve problems and escalate issues accordinglyUse relevant information available in own department and operational work environment to resolve problemsDecision Making Responsibilities:Make decisions within the framework of company policies and within set timelinesConsider consequences of decisions made in area of responsibilityImplement decisions made in line with agreed processes and policiesPlanning Responsibilities:Plan within the framework of operational/department policies and proceduresPressure Handling Responsibilities:Handle pressure well and maintain consistency in controlling own responses irrespective of time or workload pressuresCommunication Responsibilities:Demonstrate courtesy and effectiveness when dealing with others in day-to-day communication in line with company valuesEnsure relevant information is shared with appropriate stakeholders
