Employment Consultant Fixed Term Contract for 8 months commencing February 2025, Full time (40 hours per week), Monday – Friday. Position is based from our North Shore hub. Our dedicated mobile teams of employment consultants serve the greater Auckland area from our North Shore, South Auckland and Papakura Hubs providing support from Pokeno to Kaitaia.Role | Nga mahiEmployment Consultants work with clients referred to Ember Services Limited, Employment Service, to identify their employment goals and aspirations and to facilitate placement into open employment. Supporting clients to maintain employment through an individualised employment support plan is an essential component of the position.To build and maintain robust relationships with a range of companies and employers which reflects the diversity of the employment market.To ensure that the Ministry of Social Development contract targets are met both individually and collectively.You will | Nga Pukenga National Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 or equivalent Full current NZ drivers' licence Ideally have experience working within Employment Support or related roles e.g. WINZ, Careers Advisor, Benefits or working in the disability, youth, residential and/or mental health Have the ability to manage highly sensitive matters whilst maintaining confidentiality and objectivity Thrive on achieving targets – persistence, resilience, drive and determination to succeed. Have exceptional written and verbal communications skills and the ability to relate, adapt to and engage a wide spectrum of people with diverse backgrounds, ages and cultures.
