In this role, you'll assess the needs of those with disabilities or mental health challenges, providing tailored support and guidance. Your focus will be on helping individuals access and sustain meaningful employment, using empathy, understanding, and a commitment to their journey. Working collaboratively within a team, you will help foster positive decision-making and create supportive pathways to employment.Nga pukenga, nga tohu ou - What you will needPassion for People: A strong commitment to supporting individuals in their journey towards employment and wellbeing.Experience with Whanau Whaiora: Practical skills in engaging with whanau and understanding their unique needs.Caseload Management: Ability to manage a caseload effectively and coordinate with community services to achieve goals.Cultural Awareness: Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, Tikanga Maori practices to provide culturally appropriate support.Documentation Skills: Proficient in writing case notes and intermediate computer skills for effective communication and record-keeping.Collaborative Spirit: A team player who enjoys working with diverse stakeholders, including employment agencies and employers, to create opportunities for employment.Level 4 NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or be willing to study towards this qualification.A clean and full NZ driver licence.Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.A clean criminal convictions history.Ready to make a difference?
