The Department offers the opportunity for a wide range of clinical interests and support for research.We have ACEM accreditation for 24 months of training in Emergency Medicine.
The department has a strong commitment to the teaching of both trainees and final year medical students from the University of Otago.Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital is a 330-bed accredited facility providing acute and elective care for the Hawke's Bay region (a population of 162,000 people).About YouApplicants must be registered or eligible for registration with the New Zealand Medical Council as an Emergency Medicine Physician.
