You will be a part of a small competent and supportive team which provides 24/7 medical cover to a population of approximately 41,000.
You will also have the support of other medical staff such as nurses, medical students, and junior resident doctors.Mokoe / About youUse your varied and broad generalist knowledge and experience to diagnose and treat your patients in ED, through to discharge or stabilise and transfer patients to the Secondary/Tertiary Hospitals when required.
You'll be within 3 months of obtaining your Emergency Medicine qualification and/or hold/be eligible for Specialist Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides healthcare from its two modern and progressive general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupo, New Zealand.
