Nestled in the heart of the North Island, Taupo Hospital is renowned for its breath-taking landscapes, including the majestic Lake Taupo, the largest freshwater lake in Australasia. We are seeking an Emergency Specialist to work in our Taupo Hospital. You will be a part of a small competent and supportive team which provides 24/7 medical cover to a population of approximately 41,000.
Use your varied and broad generalist knowledge and experience to diagnose and treat your patients in ED, through to discharge or stabilise and transfer patients to the Secondary/Tertiary Hospitals when required.
Taupo Hospital also provides a rehabilitation service for its local community.

To be suitable for this position, applicants must:
be within 3 months of obtaining their Emergency Medicine qualification
and/or hold or be eligible for Specialist (Vocational) registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
