As an Emergency Registrar at Health New Zealand, you will gain excellent practical experience in managing very sick patients reflecting the high health needs of the region, including road trauma, farm trauma, and beach trauma.
About Our Service
Accredited for 24 months ACEM advanced training and paediatric logbook requirements.
Work side by side with a dedicated team of 23 experienced Emergency Physicians.
Close supervision for trainees with a weekly commitment to clinical teaching.
Gain experience in many procedures and develop your clinical skills.
Established rotations to other specialty services (ICU, Anaesthetics, Paediatrics, and Medicine).
Well supported by all other services, with Emergency Medicine staff utilizing ultrasound in patient care.
