Job Description
He mea whakamiharo koe Emergency Management Specialist? (Are you an amazing Emergency Management Specialist?)
We're looking for a talented Emergency Management Specialist to help us keep the good energy flowing on a 12-month fixed term basis.
In the interesting and varied role you will continue the development of the Clarus emergency management capability (across all business areas) in order to bring it to the point of being in 'maintenance mode'. This includes development of processes, procedures, other documentation and taking relevant areas of the business/personnel on the journey to improve knowledge and competence.
You can expect to work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth integration of existing assets/businesses into the Clarus emergency management framework, and set us up for success with future acquisitions.
This role is based at our Bell Block office, with some occassional travel requirements.
Qualifications
He aha tau e kawe mai (What you will bring)
Along with your relevant qualifications (ideally in emergency management) and 2+ years' experience in emergency response / management, it'd be great if you have:
Collaborative and systems thinking approach to process and procedure development.
Ability to build rapport and effectively influence across levels and functions.
Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
Knowledge of relevant legislation applicable to emergency management.
Understanding of the Coordinated Incident Management System (CIMS).
