About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced and high-performing Emergency Department. This part-time (0.6 FTE) role involves working across rostered rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, ensuring you gain experience in all aspects of emergency care. You will report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and support staff to provide high-quality care to patients in urgent need. About you: We are looking for a Registered Nurse who brings a passion for emergency care, along with the following: NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate. Experience in an emergency, acute care, or high-pressure environment is highly desirable. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to act quickly and decisively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork in a multidisciplinary setting. The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations. A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to quality and safety. Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth (mandatory) Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
