We are looking for someone who has a passion for embedded Linux, kernel and device driver development – particularly for connected devices, vehicular systems and AI/ML computer vision applications! You may have: Ported the Linux kernel to new processor architectures. Built Android or Embedded linux systems from scratch for new hardware platforms, including development of BPSs. Optimised the Linux kernel (configuration or code) to achieve specific power consumption or performance goals. Developed kerne drivers for non-trivial hardware such as wireless/network interfaces, display controllers, cameras or similar Worked at low levels on Qualcomm Snapdragon, Xilinx Zynq/Ultrascale/Versal, or i.MX You should be familiar with Yocto or Buildroot and the way that modern embedded Linux systems are structured, composed, updated and controlled. You'll be an expert C programmer with strong attention to detail, and a knack for producing tidy, efficient code. You'll be great at documentation – both visual and written, and will have excellent written and verbal technical communication skills in English. You'll be able to talk to customers, and bridge between the world of technical detail, and that of commercial outcomes.
