The mission of the Wireless Power Technology team is to create the world's best Wireless Charging user experience by inventing state-of-the-art technologies. We develop effortless and safe Wireless Charging designs that are central to Apple's products - the iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods! New challenges arise every day that require the sharp problem-solving skills of individuals. Are you in for the challenges?DescriptionYou will be working alongside the firmware team on a dedicated project throughout your internship. This includes developing firmware for ARM Core processors and other customer ASICs. You will interact with team members locally and remotely where you will use your strong communication skills. We work with a global team across a range of technologies and products that will require you to quickly familiarize yourself and be effective with a range of firmware development tools, processes, and procedures.Minimum QualificationsCurrently pursuing a bachelor's degree/Master's Degree/PhD in electrical engineering or computer science or industry experience equivalent.Effective written and oral communication skills, particularly with technical content.Solid skills in embedded C/C++.Desire and ability for problem solving and debugging.Preferred QualificationsBasic knowledge of microprocessors and RTOS concepts.Experience with versioning and automation tools, such as git or Unit testing.Experience with scripting languages, such as Python.
