The Hired Guns are seeking a highly strategic and analytical Email Specialist for a fast-growing direct-to-consumer healthcare brand that's poised to upend its category. This is a fully-remote, part-time contract opportunity.
The Nitty Gritty The backstory on the organization and why they need to hire you! "Taking it to the next level" is a tired cliche, but sometimes it's apt—this innovator in a big sector of the healthcare industry aims to elevate their email marketing to best-in-class. You'll develop an overarching email strategy, encompassing lead gen, acquisition, and retention. Beyond that, you'll bring strategic discipline to every aspect of their email programs: copy effectiveness (especially subject lines), list segmentation, behavioral triggers (such as in-store visits), and more. Plus, you'll play a key part in their selection of a new CRM system, helping them map out success criteria and aiding in the ultimate migration process. All the while, you'll look at all email communication through a lens of compliance; this is a healthcare play after all. And you'll bring your analytical expertise to bear in a non-stop cycle of test, measure, evaluate, adjust, lather, rinse, repeat.
