The Opportunity
Due to the expansion of our production operations at Gallagher, we are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to provide technical support for factory production during our newly added night shift.
In this role, you will repair faulty products, assist production engineering staff, and uphold health and safety protocols. You'll work closely with Test Engineers and Technicians to ensure production targets are met and that repair management processes are efficient.
The successful candidate will undergo two weeks of training on our afternoon shift (3:00pm – 12:00am) before transitioning to the night shift, which runs from 12:00am to 8:00am.
The Fit
The ideal candidate will have:
NZQA or Diploma in Electronics
Experience in the Electronic Servicing Industry, particularly with animal management and security products
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong troubleshooting skills for technical issues
Effective communication abilities and a commitment to high standards in product quality
