ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN SMT (M/F/D) ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN SMT (M/F/D) Location: Waihi, New Zealand The salary range for this role is 62,000-65,000 NZD per annum. YOUR TASKS Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot SMT assembly equipment. Perform soldering and rework on electronic components and PCB assemblies. Perform functional tests to ensure product performance is to specification. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure product specifications are met. Diagnose and repair PCB assemblies and equipment. Assist in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree/Diploma (or equivalent) in Electronics. A minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with SMT assembly equipment and processes. Proficient in soldering and rework techniques. Strong understanding of electronic circuitry and components. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with PCB design and layout. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
