The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and collaborative Electronics Design Engineer to join Gallagher's Animal Management Product and Technology team. You will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and optimizing electronic circuits and components to meet customer needs, regulatory standards, and market demands. Working with cross-functional teams, you will drive technical excellence and innovation in the development of our products, ensuring high reliability and performance in challenging environments.
The Fit
You're an experienced electronic design engineer with at least 5 years' experience in commercial product development. You thrive in collaborative settings and are committed to delivering innovative products. To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Broad skills and technical knowledge of analogue and digital circuits and components.
Proficiency in designing complex products at both the schematic and PCB level.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
A collaborative spirit and a commitment to quality.
Strong effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
You will gain an added advantage if you have:
Proficiency with Altium Designer PCB design software.
Experience with simulation tools such as SIMetrix, LTspice, etc.
Previous experience of designing RF readers, antennas, etc.
An agricultural background, knowledge of farm animal management.
