Electricity Ashburton (Ea) Shareholders Committee Member (Applications Close 29 July 2024)

A community focused role where you can influence at a Governance level. Work with our local electricity sector. A paid part-time appointment, approximately 10 meetings per year. What the appointment involves Ashburton District Council is looking to appoint two committee members to represent Council's interests on the Electricity Ashburton Shareholders Committee for a term of 3 years. The committee will also include four other Shareholder Committee members who have been directly elected by rebate shareholders (Consumers). You'll be an active member of our community with strong strategic and governance experience and ideally some understanding of the electricity distribution and fibre network.
