Tradestaff are partnering with some major companies on exciting projects in Taupo.
Ware seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial or Industrial Electricians to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in commercial environments and possess the technical expertise required to handle a variety of electrical systems, from installations to troubleshooting and repairs.
If you are passionate about the electrical trade, enjoy solving complex problems, and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial buildings, including lighting, wiring, circuit breakers, and panels.Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics to determine the layout and installation of electrical systems.Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems to ensure they meet safety standards and codes.Troubleshoot electrical issues, identify faults, and provide effective solutions.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations.Collaborate with other team members and project managers to complete tasks efficiently and safely.Maintain accurate records of inspections, installations, and repairs.Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety standards and quality.Qualifications:Valid Electrical License.3+ years of experience working as a commercial electrician.Strong knowledge of electrical codes and best practices.Experience with wiring, panel upgrades, lighting, and electrical systems installation and repair.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Preferred Qualifications:EWRB certification (or willingness to obtain).Experience with high voltage or low-voltage and data systems installation.Familiarity with energy-efficient electrical systems and green building practices.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience.All PPE provided.Projects tailored to your skillsets.Opportunities for training, career development, and certification.How to
