Electrician - Smoke Alarm Testing & Replacement Property Compliance New Zealand (PCNZ) is an industry leader in providing smoke alarm servicing for residential rental properties. Since launching in 2023, we are continuing to grow rapidly across the country as the real estate industry welcomes our fresh approach and innovative service offering.
Please note to be considered for this position you MUST be a qualified electrician.
This role suits someone looking for basic electrical work, with conditions that are light on the body as there is no ceiling work, digging trenches, or dusty construction sites!
All training will be provided to you plus everything you need, including tools, uniforms, mobile phone, and a company vehicle for daily work duties. You will join our experienced team and be supported each step of the day.
This is a permanent part-time position starting at 2-3 days per week, but expected to become full-time in the next 3 months.
The position requires only Monday to Friday working hours. Initially, when the role is not full-time, PCNZ will work with you to decide on set days each week that work for both yourself and our company clients.

Ability to use modern technology such as our smartphone inspection app.
Fit and able to climb up and down ladders multiple times a day.
Proven ability to work unsupervised.
