Job Description
About the role We are currently looking for Shift Electrician's to join the team at our Ashburton plant. You will be responsible to ensure the production equipment is kept in a condition that will allow full running, with as little downtime as possible, to maintain production.
Based on your experience and qualifications, your pay will range from $40.50 - $52.00. As part of the Maintenance team, you will be reporting to the Electrical Lead. You will be also working along with the Maintenance Manager, Planner, and other Leads.
You will be working on the 4ON 4OFF roster, 12-hour shifts, Day/Night as directed. This is a full-time role, with at least 48 hours rostered each week, and with some overtime available regularly.
As a Shift Electrician, you will be responsible for: Receive instructions from the Maintenance Planner / Chief Engineer / Head Engineer or others as the needs of the business requires.Accurately maintain all documentation and records, both written and electronicBe a point of contact on all day-to-day maintenance issues for the production equipment and any other services equipment.Ensure company documented procedures and business rules are conformed toTake ownership of quality system, food safety and HACCP programEnsure all work is done with the correct work request paperwork and all information is providedEnsure all work is completed and reported with the correct reporting paperworkCompliance with AS/NZS Standards and RegulationsApply sound RCA and fault-finding techniques to improve plant reliabilityDay-to-day maintenance tasks and resolving issuesTimely completion of Preventative Maintenance activities to scheduleBreakdownsDowntime due to maintenanceAccurate job / work reportingPlant AvailabilityFollow site H&S, Food Safety policies and practices.
Qualifications
For this role, you'll need: EWRB registered and have a current practicing license2 years industrial experienceStrong knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and maintenance practicesSolid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.Strong computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, MS Teams, Deputy etc.CMMS experience (highly advantageous)
