Electrician-Senior Site Manager

Job Title: Electrician - Site Manager Location:  Auckland About Us: Our client is a leading provider of commercial construction services, known for our commitment to excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician-Site Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead electrical installations on large-scale commercial projects. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all electrical installations and maintenance on commercial construction sites. Lead a team of electricians and ensure work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Coordinate with other site managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery. Review and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and technical drawings. Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions efficiently. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery. Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices. Prepare reports, documentation, and ensure accurate record-keeping. Qualifications and Experience: New Zealand Registered Electrician with a current practicing license. Experience in commercial electrical installations. Proven experience in a supervisory or site management role. Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety standards, and building codes. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license.
