We work closely with our parent company in Japan – WoodOne.About the role:We have a great opportunity for two motivated and experienced industrial maintenance electricians to work within our mills in Kaitaia. This is a full time permanent role working a minimum of 40 hours per week.We pay a rate of between $35-$45 per hour.Key responsibilities will include:Carrying out preventative maintenance work on electrical equipmentProvide "front line" support to Production and Mechanical departmentsAttend breakdownsOverhaul various electrical equipment, including motors and motor controls.Excellent trouble shooting ability for electrical systemsInstallations (COC & ESC )To be successful in this role you will have the following attributes:NZ Electrical RegistrationSeveral years' experience in electrical maintenance of industrial plantsExperience with 3 phase motors, motor protection, motor controls, industrial sensors and a wide range of industrial electrical and control equipment.Advantageous - experience with Variable Speed Drives, PLC control, basic instrumentation, encoders etcExperience in CMMS.
