Electrician - Commercial & Rural Do you live in Taupo or Rotorua?We are looking for a fully qualified Electrician for our client across the Commercial and Rural aspects of the electrical industry with background knowledge and experience with the following (but not limited to):All Electrical aspects of rural sector in dairy sheds, irrigation, effluent systems, refrigeration, water pumps, and their controlExamining blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine sequences and methods of operationExperience with installations and service security alarms, CCTV systems, fire alarms, heat pumps and alternative energy solutions advantageous.Fault finding and problem-solving skills, coupled with a 'can-do' attitudeSelecting, cutting and connecting wire and cable to terminals and connectorsUsing electrical and electronic test instruments to trace and diagnose faultsRepairing and replacing faulty wiring and defective partsPositioning and installing electrical switchboardsConnecting electrical systems to power supplyTesting continuity of circuitAbout You:Minimum 3+ years' experienceNZ EWRB Practicing LicenseEffective communication skills and be customer focusedKnowledge and understanding of the current New Zealand Electrical RegulationsA positive attitude to working in a safe and healthy mannerExperience with Residential, Commercial, Industrial and RuralFull class 1 clean NZ driver's licenceNew Zealand residency or a valid NZ working visaIn Return:Competitive hourly rateWork VehicleJoin a growing team with a strong, friendly and professional focusOn call allowancesDoes this sound like you?
