ANZCO Foods Waitara have an opportunity for an Electrician to join our busy manufacturing plant this is a full-time permanent position reporting to our Engineering Supervisor.
The purpose of this role is to keep production and site process running by maintaining/installing all electrical, automation related items. Continual upgrading of old equipment and upskilling of electrical staff on site.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
PLC liaising with automation technician
Automation control wiring following a cable schedule.
HMI and Scada maintenance
Maintaining the day-to-day operation of the processing facility as pertains to the plant electrical
Preparing drawings, documentation, technical reports and calculations associated with the control design for individual projects using software tools: Microsoft Office.
Managing electrical project deadlines.
Ensuring that all technical requirements are understood and complied with, as per specifications and contract documents
Maintaining on site low and extra low voltage electrical systems.
Fault finding and repair of electrical control systems.
Liaising with Shift Supervisors on any day to day concerns.
Performing ongoing monitoring of electrical and control systems e.g. Instrumentation, Scales, VSDs, etc
IT support e.g., CCTV, IT Hardware.
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
NZ Qualified level 4 registered electrician or equivalent
Current practicing license
Strong organisational skills with focus on meeting objectives
Ability to work unsupervised and complete tasks as requested
Experience with preventative, reliability maintenance and an aptitude for fault diagnoses
Project work scoping and implementations
