Our world-class technology, meticulous production values, the highest levels of ethical production, and our adherence to environmental sustainability all contribute to our reputation for food excellence.Working within the Engineering Team, the role of an Electrician at Alliance is a crucial part of keeping the plant moving.We currently have vacancies for electricians at all our plants including Smithfield, Pukeuri, Matura, Lorneville, Nelson, Dannevirke, and Levin.The duties include:Working on a 7-day roster shift basis to ensure all equipment and service systems are running efficiently.Completing preventative, scheduled and breakdown repairs as well as regular maintenance.Maintaining a focus on continuous improvement, whilst working on maximizing efficiency across all services on plant.Assisting with the installation of new plant equipment and ensuring equipment is operating correctly.Monitoring the engine room and associated systems, remotely via a PC when required.Communicating effectively with contractors, customers, and other team mates and colleagues.Ensuring effective communication to the appropriate manager regarding any electrical issues or disruption to production.Nga painga - what's in it for you?We are an employer that is committed to making a difference for families and communities and supporting people to build rewarding careers.
