We are currently looking to expand our team of electrical installation professionals for the work we do within the Critical Power Sector and Industrial/Commercial sectors, which includes key infrastructure builds within the 3 waters sector.
With exciting new projects starting that will possibly span over many years there is the opportunity to expand your career within.
The successful applicant will ideally possess or have experience with the following: General Electrical Installation.Switchboard and MCC connection and installation.Cable Tray/Ladder Installation.Working with larger cables.Ability to read, follow and create a variety of electrical drawings.Ethernet network installation.Safety system installation.All aspects of industrial wiring installation.Working on City Council Pumping applications.Working with UPS and large-scale DC Battery Systems.Strong ability to problem-solve and use initiative.Ability to build relationships with wider teams onsite.Exceptional time management & Organisational skills ensuring deadlines are met.Good verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to take a concept and deliver a final solution, meeting expectations and budget requirements.If you are a registered electrician with experience in the above work and have a positive attitude, a desire to push your career forward – this would be a fantastic opportunity for you.
Mandatory minimum requirements: Current NZ Electrical RegistrationCurrent Practising LicenseAppropriate work visa (for non-residents)Minimum of 2 plus years working as an Electrician in the Commercial sector is an advantage but not essential as training will be given.Be able to work out of town for short periodsMillennium is committed to a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
